Eric Peterman, a senior in industrial engineering and management sciences, signed a free agent contract with the Chicago Bears. Read the article and see the video.
Eric Schickli, a graduate student in the Master of Science in Engineering Design and Innovation program, and Samantha Katz, a graduate student in the MMM program, won the grand prize of $10,000 at the Diabetes Mine 2009 Design Challenge.
The Design for America team of Yuri F. Malina, Kushal Amin, Hannah Chung, Can Arican, Katy Mess, Rita Huen, Sourya Roy, Justin Liu, Kevin Li, and Mert Iseri won the "Most Creative" award at the Diabetes Mine 2009 Design Challenge.
